Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011) and the spokesperson of the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki was press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. [20] The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30 in 2014. In the year 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
